Blacksheep is a fairly new shop to the Charlotte area. Since it opened 2 years ago, Blacksheep has grown a lot. They just moved to a bigger store which is right across the street from their old location. The new shop is on Camden road, in South End. They are located next to American Apparel and The Niche Market.
When you walk into Blacksheep you will be amazed at
how much stuff they have. There are 40 boards on the wall and 20+ on the
ground. That is a HUGE selection. They also have a ton of shoes. They
stock pretty much every shoe you could want, in all kinds of sizes and
colors. Since Blacksheep is one of the only shops in Charlotte, they have
EVERYTHING you would need. They have a huge variety of wheels, trucks,
bearings and the latest videos.
One of the best parts about Blacksheep is the owners.
Josh Frazier and Deiter Wagner own Blacksheep. They both skate so they
know what it takes to run a skateshop, and thats why Blacksheep is the
only skater owned and operated shop in Charlotte. Blacksheep is a great
place to go to hang out, talk to some fellow skaters, watch the latest
videos, and get a session together. Blacksheep is even a part of the monthly
Camden Road Gallery Crawl. The gallery crawl is always a great time. Everybody
comes to hang out, check out the art galleries, skate, and have a good
time.
